Currently I have no data plan and a regular 500 text. I will be getting a data plan soon. Question is, do I need to purchase a separate MMS addon in order to send/receive pic/vid messaging, or will the data plan cover that? Otherwise, can I use a 3rd party app to send/receive MMS using my data plan data?

U can use third party app to send pics for free...
If u don't have mms, its 50c per send and receive via text service for pics_______________

depends on provider if you need data .will you just add data or look for a new plan altogether?
