Any version of Mario Kart is a good bet.
Also Burnout 3. Basically lighter, sillier, simpler games. Nothing too complicated or violent.

GF/Wife Friendly Video Games :)
You've probably ask your better-side to play and 99% of the time it's "NO!"

Well... after trying the following...
Halo2 = "too dizzying! controls are too confusing!"
PGR2/Rallisport2 = "too hard!"
Ikaruga = "too hard!"
...
...
...
at last we've found it!
Baldur's Gate Dark Allegiance 2 = "hey this is fun!"
we played co-op for around 2hrs and I was surprised it was quite fun as well! Also showed her 'true' side as she chose the Necromancer = Evil
I gotta go find a bargain bin copy of Baldur's Gate Dark Allegiance 1 now... oh... we restarted 5 times before she got the hang of it... LoL!

Get a DS, most of the DS games are playable for the non videogaming crowd.
A big hit also are stuff like the Eyetoy and esp Karaoke Revolution._______________
I'm on the road to 5000...

Mario Party can be cool until the tables get violently turned against you in the game.. the AI is WAY too random

Oh Wario Ware is another popular one. Very fun game for boys/girls of all ages. There's also Mario Party, though I don't really like the board game format (makes it super slow .. i still haven't figured out how it works yet).
