Going to Blaine, WA to open BoA account...
I'm going next week and I'm wondering if I need anything besides my drivers licence, passport, and major credit card? Thanks for any tips

You may want to get a letter from your bank saying you have an account there and are in good standing.
They requested such a letter when I opened my account.. (I had to fax it the next day & I was set..) If you have one in hand when you go, you can get everything setup same day.. But, not everyone was required to provide such a letter..

Major credit card isn't required.
Drivers Lic + Passport will do the trick, and yes Cash will help. You need $100 to open the account.
A bank letter might be good to take as well.

Just wanted to update that I opened the acount with no problems at all. All I needed was a passport and a credit card and they opened it right up for me. I got the Versatel account so there are no fees and I also applied for a U.S. credit card. I'm not sure if I'll get it as my Canadian credit history isn't perfect but the lady at the bank said that I might as well try and see if I get approved. Anyway I just wanted to post an update incase anyone else is thinking of doing this. The whole thing took about a half and hour and the people in Blaine at the BoA are sooo nice! I had to deposit $40.00 which I could've withdrew right away had I neede to. Thanks to everyone who posted the info and the reminders (I almost didn't bring the cash, lol)!
