I would. If you like the band, you should go. Why not?

OMG - NO! My opinions are only validated when I'm able to see how friends are reacting. I wouldn't know what to think or feel as an individual.

I have been to lots of concerts by myself, because my loser friends don't like my taste in music.
I actually had to go to Maiden by myself because my friends either didn't like them or didn't like them enough to pay $80 for a ticket, which suggests I need better friends. Although, I had to go by myself that was the best concert of my life and would do it again.

I think it would depend on the concert.
If you are attending an opera or symphony in which the audience is quiet, then going on your own is fine, cause it's not a social occasion.
If you are going to small venue where people are standing around, close to the stage and socializing, then sure, meet some other fans.
But if you are attending a concert that has designated seating, and a lack of abilities to socially connect with others, I would find it a bit strange.
Yet, one can always ask themselves, is music for individual or group expression?
Unless, I'm intimate with someone, I always find that music is more powerful when I'm alone. So for what it's worth, enjoy yourself.

I've went to a concert alone once, it's actually not that bad, although it might feel slightly awkward.
You'll get to enjoy the experience without any social distractions._______________

If I really like the band, I wouldn't care if I was going alone or if someone was going with me.
I am going to see/hear the band, not have deep conversations with my friend.
Mind you, I haven't gone to a movie alone but don't think I would hesitate to go if I really wanted to watch the movie.
Have fun!

I never been to a concert alone, but I've done movies/hockey games many times. If you are confortable with it, I don't see a problem.

I don't see a problem with going alone. I doubt anyone will even care or notice that you are alone.

I wouldn’t just because part of the experience for me is the company you go with. But then again, if I really liked something (and to be honest nothing comes to mind right now that I would want to go alone) I would strongly consider going although I would prefer to go with a friend.
Everyone is different, and if you don’t mind going solo then go ahead!

Anyone whose ever been to a concert knows there is no such thing as going alone, once you're there you will be caught up in the moment just as everyone else and will probably be dancing and talking with everyone around. I bet you even leave there with a couple new friends in your phone book. Go have a great time and use your better judgment and all should be fine.
