You can probably get a job downtown taking mostly english but you will have to know some basic french. Shouldn't be too difficult to learn though.

Going to school in Montreal
Hi,
How hard is it to find a job as a purely English-speaking student in Montreal? I'm debating between going to Montreal or Toronto for school, but given that I will almost certainly need to get a part-time job, and I only speak English (but am definitely interested in improving my French), I'm not sure if I will be able to find a job in Montreal.
Is it hard for anglophones to find work in Montreal? My French is really, really basic.
Thanks a lot in advance!

You might also be able to find something in NDG or Westmount as well.
