good 3rd yr ecm courses at utsc
hey everyone.
looking into taking some summer classes at utsc for the summer. .. was interested and wondering if anyone could recommend some easier/not as challenging c level economics courses there. how is 3rd level micro/macro? if anyone has any good ones they can recommend that would be good.
as well, if there are any 3rd yr mgt courses you could recommend, would appreciate it. (plus the prof recommendation)

Taking ECMC02/06 right now
c02 with masoud ajanamshoa
c06 with mazaheri
Wouldn't reccomend c02, probably the hardest course i have right now but c06 with mazaheri is a breeze so far.
Make sure you take it with mazaheri only though because idk what other profs are like
He has iClicker questions during lectures, they are worth 10% of ur final mark but if u do better on the midterms than the iclicker average it gets replaced by the midterm mark. His problem sets are useful because the first midterm i wrote was exactly questions from the problem sets with different numbers, did really well on it too.

Take ECMB06 and ECMB02, I got same mark as someone who studied 3 weeks for it.
I crammed the final in 2 days, its a breeze.
ECMB06: Parkinson
ECMB02: Parker

i've taken c40, and i love professor franco. she is great. very helpful if u have questions. you can get a high mark in that class easily as long as you read the book and read the **** she gives out. as a warning, this course is more theory intensive then math. c40 with parkinson is more 'math' based

Hey,
I took ECMC51 with Dhuey last fall. She is pretty easy and you can get a high mark in the course as long as you do the problem sets and understand her slides. Don't even worry about buying the text for that course. She is pretty nice when you ask her questions. However, beware that she will pick on people to answer her questions and will not move on unless you (or someone else) answers that question. She is like a high school teacher when it comes to teaching. Hope this helps.
