Is this a good deal? Aruba

Hi RFD,

I am planning an all inclusive at Aruba on Sept 10 for my girlfriend and I?

It is $1955pp at the Riu Palace Antillas with $100 prepaid visa at redtag.

Is this a good deal? It will be my first time at an all inclusive.

No, absolutely not. Getting on an airplane to go to a beach in summer is idiotic.

The only advantage is the sun will be almost vertical at noon. I swung by Punta Fuijo on my tour of northern Venezuela one August many years ago. Hot! Only Caracas and Merida had acceptable temperatures because of the elevation. Everywhere else the heat and humidity was oppressive.

If you are stuck taking vacation time in September, go to Europe or something. You will be sick of the beach anyway.
Toronto is a very small part of Canada

Unfortunately I am pretty set to go on vacation in September, and it has to be Aruba haha.

Besides the reasons @MonctonMan mentioned.....is the deal itself good?

while the beach is more appealing when its -20 here in Canada, its never too hot for the beach in my view.

Never a bad time to be on the beach in aruba.
Price is avg.
I've been multiple times to aruba but now stay off the strip. You will have a great time.
