Good Deal/Cookware? $129.99 Heritage Artisan
Is the below cookware any good? Is this a good deal?
I only know the standard names and I don't recognize this one. I saw it for $129.99.

When it comes to cookware, the primary thing I look for is a solid, heavy, thick bottom, that it can be put in the oven and, handles that dissipate heat quickly.
I have never heard of nor seen the ones you are showing, Sorry but the only comment I would have is that the glass tops probably cannot be put in the oven.

When was that set $129? I bought the older version of the set that came with large pot, small pot, large frying pan and medium sauce pan. No mid sized pot which really bugs me now. I can say that I love this cookware though. Very heavy, cooks great and easy to clean.

Hmm thanks for the comments. The set is very thick actually but the handles are plastic, so I won't be using them in the oven but that's okay for me.

It's $129 right now at Cantire. I think I will pick up the set this evening actually. This set is not heavy though?! It's actually quite light for how think it is. Are you sure it's the same?

Maybe heavy is relative...compared to what I was using before they are quite heavy and I like the weight of them. Online the price says $299 for me, saw them in store on boxing day and also $299. Did you end up buying the set?

Yup I got it. It was $129.99 at the Cantire store at Bay & Dundas.
I couldn't find the sale anywhere online or in any flyer. It might still be on sale as I couldn't find any "sale end" date and this was before Boxing day sales too.

I just noticed this thread, talk about behind the times. I just purchased this cookware from CanTire for $89.99. I really like the weight but I haven't used it yet.

Considering buying it...also for $89.99, but have read mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it. Many people said they blister. Has anyone experienced this yet?
