Is this a good deal for a non-gaming laptop?

It's actually $449 in my cart(sale expired but I still have it). Looking for a 13-14". I don't care if it's a last gen i5, I am not picky. I just want a low-medium budget machine for simple tasks. Are better prices expected to come on cyber monday or boxing day? I can wait a month or two but unsure if other sales will be as seemingly good. If someone can link me to anything better that'd be cool too, thanks.

Acer okay

Personally stay away from Dell and HP.... UGH.

But their business lines are great.

Decided not to buy it. Here's hoping the next month or two has something more delicious. Lack of reviews, hype, and how often this laptop is on sale on ncix put me off. With windows 8 coming, i can see clearances + sales in the next month being better...hopefully.

HP makes junk for laptops. Never had an issue with Dell though.
