Good driving set for PS3?
Hey guys,
I wanna get a driving set for the PS3 since i preordered GT5, what would you recommend? Force feed back + a shift stick would be nice.
Thanks.

Well you can wait for the new Logitech wheel coming out when GT5 comes out.
_______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."

There's also Fanatec's Porsche 911 Turbo Gaming Wheel. It has force feedback and a six-speed/sequential shifter. It's also semi-wireless to boot. Quite similar in features and a little pricier compared to the G25. You can check out the review of the wheel here.
The forum over at RaceSimCentral is an excellent place to inquire about all the other different options available.Last edited by WickedSmurf; Mar 9th, 2008 at 11:35 PM.

From www.911wheel.com's FAQ:
The product page for the wheel at Fanatec is here.What Playstation 3 games are compatible?
In general, all games are compatible which are supporting other Force Feedback wheels as well.
This includes:
* Gran Turismo 5 Prolog
* Need for Speed: Pro Street
* Colin Mc Rae DiRT
* Need for Speed carbon
* Nascar 2008
* Formula 1 (No FF support)

i think G25 gives a better value, since the porsche one cost 350 bucks!

I am really surprised that this doesn't have a shifter like the g25...Other than the fancy adjustment dial on the center of the wheel, this really isn't much different than the Driving Force Pro. Unless they have better, more realistic pedals, I won't consider getting this at all.

pedals seem to be the same... the improvements are in the force feedback (and the adjustment dial like you mentioned). i'm guessing the force feedback still won't be as strong as the G25, but it will be more realistic, especially with GT5 as Logitech said they worked closely with PD.
