Good electronic store in Vancouver? (soldering irons, wires, wire strippers)

Same as title. Need a good store. Looking into either getting a hakko 936 solder station or some sort of clone that works just as well

Thanks!

I don't know if you can get a hakko but maybe you can try Main Electronics or Lee's. They are around Main and 29th.

I usually get cables and accessories at RP Electronics located in Burnaby by Brentwood Mall. I'm not too familiar with electronic equipment and such, but it might be worth in checking them out.

Might be a little late but if you haven't found your 936, ActiveComponents at E.1st Ave @ Boundary (www.active123.com) has it on sale for $85. (Sale price is not on their website but it's on the front page of their sales flyer.)

Active Components is national chain. Sometimes I find them more expensive but their flyer price is pretty good so I don't mind giving them a plug. Here are their locations:

In GTA, it's
3790 Victoria Park Ave
Suite 100
Toronto

The model on sale is 936-12 ESD (Active # 86000). It's "normally" C$139.99 but you won't even see it on their website but it IS on the front page of their flyer in the store (on sale for C$85 until April 5) . RP's price is C$123.84 on sale at C$103.20. (The Hakko online store has it for U$93.77.)
