In BC everything is open except BANKS and Government offices today Sunday and monday. May have special hours on Sunday but all malls are open.

SAFEWAY grocery stores are open till midnight tonight.

Both my workplaces were closed today, I GOT PAID for it and I LOVED IT. A STAT Holidays hould be just that, you stay home, no shopping, and spend time with the family. People are so obsessed with shopping and working on holidays, pretty soon a Holiday wont have the same meaning as it did decades ago.

decades ago you wouldn't have gotten paid unless you actually WENT TO work instead of staying at home.
