RB Computing is good. Never had a problem with them.
"What to buy" depends on what you do with your PC. And do you need everything, OS/monitor included?

mostly playing nba live 2006, a few other games, watching movies, tv shows, downloading torrents, surfing the internet...
looking for system with 5.1 ch surround
will be using with 17 inch or 19 inch LCD monitor w/solid refresh rate
i dont think i need the OS...if i have a copy of windows XP it shouldn't be hard to get it on there right?Last edited by mookieflookie; Dec 25th, 2005 at 09:16 PM.

So you need a TV-Tuner as well?
For video card, I don't recommend going with less than an X700 Pro or X800GT. That will be ~$200.
An Athlon64 3000+ is roughly around $149 (Pricematch with Network Supply)
Asus A8N-E is $134
17/19" LCD, pick up on boxing day sale. You won't get a better price than what is out there now. You'll pay approx $300-400 or so.
To be honest, OEM Express has a good deal on hard drives. 200GB Maxtor SATA with 16MB cache is $99. 250GB is $129.
Even their memory is not bad. 512MB for $49.99
You should be able to get RB Computing to pricematch with most of these items anyways, i'm just using OEM Express for reference.

Another vote for RBC. Best costumer service, and they'll price match almost anyone.

Dec 25th, 2005 11:35 PM #8Go for 19 inch. The prices are reasonable now. Who wouldn't want an extra 2 inches?
