E Transfers can be cancelled.

You can always call in and report it was never authorized. Takes more time than PayPal dispute but it can be done.

Cash is your best bet unless you can meet at a Police Designated Kijiji Spot and process an emt.

When looking for used lenses on kijiji what should I look out for ? Fake lenses how would I determine that ? Do the sellers usually let you test the lens out on ur camera ?

I haven't used it myself but E-Infinity is an online camera store with some of the best pricing I have seen, and is fairly well reviewed from what I can tell.

Also, there's no guarantee how fast it will be processed. I have had the extremes from nearly instant to one hour.

I'm tempted but they seem to be located in HK. They have a ebay store but with warnings everywhere about potential custom fees. If anyone bought from there I would be interested in knowing.

I have bought and sold camera gear on Kijiji. I am selling stuff now on Kijiji.
Never had any problems.

Usually when you go back and forth with someone, you quickly realize whether they are actually into photography or a scammer. Meet in a public place, test the gear when you meet, and read on the common issue(s) with the specific item so you know what to look for.

Just picked up an old 60-300mm Tamron on kijiji, waiting for the adapter from amazon for my fuji x-t1. Lens cost me $80 and in really good condition.

Most camera stores will have “open box” items and trade-ins. I shop at henrys.com. Try a local camera store.

which adapter did you get? I have a 70-200mm sigma lens with a canon mount that i'd love to use on my fuji, but i'm not sure of which adapter to get. the only one i've found was something like $350
