Good places to go to capture Christmas?

I will have some free time and I might go on a bit of a road trip by myself this Christmas seeing what I can capture. The thing is, all these light displays charge admission and I dont want to pay. Im looking for something that is free. Any places in general you can suggest?

In Canada?

Would probably help if you told us the area you're looking for.

'Capture Christmas', what an odd expression. It sounds like you're heading out after Kris Kringle on a horse with a net, planet of the apes style...
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?

Walk around your local city hall or somebody in your neighbourhood must be a Xmas freak. There's a few with awesome lights around ours.
