USD + duties/tax coming from USA...
I just received it from fedex. They shipped it fedex international economy so there was no duty, taxes, or brokerage. With conversion to cnd on my credit card the total price was $508.77 hot hot hot!

That's lucky! I'm too nervous to take a risk like that and be dinged an extra $100 from the gov or FedEx.

Hope I don't get dinged, with FedEx its a gamble, UPS is worse. Its shipped out, that was fast.

Yip, I have NEVER paid anything at time of delivery with Fedex - then start getting excited and 2-4 weeks later the BILL arrives in the mail, with the SHOCKER normally. I HATE Fedex for that....

Surprise, surprise.... There is NO way Fedex does customs clearing/brokerage for FREE. They charge $45.35 on items valued between $200.01 and $500.00 and $50.75 on items valued between $500.01 to $1000.00 plus you WILL pay taxes, and because it's not made in the USA/Mexico, you MIGHT pay import duty too.

Here are their rates (page 58) http://images.fedex.com/ca_english/serv ... -Final.pdf

And has been mentioned, you will only receive the invoice for customs clearing, taxes and possible duty in a few weeks via mail...... I receive weekly packages from the US and Europe via Fedex and have NEVER not received the bill in the mail a few weeks later. And it always includes clearing fees and taxes, and mostly duties if not NAFTA applicable.

I am prepared to pay HST and the nominal brokerage rate which is still a significant savings over purchasing it in Canada :p

Decent price, however if you have friends in the US see if you can ask them to get it for you.

I was just on a Florida cruise and they had it for $399 - $50 and no taxes.

Watched a demo for it and its pretty awesome that it's fully waterproof without the need of a housing unit.
