Got a letter return not received

I am a non resident and every month since January 2016 I have been paying (actually my mom is) 25% of net rental income and percentage of interest income to the government. My account filed the tax for me on April 10th and my mom received a letter from CRA dated April 28th that return has not been received (she was traveling and hasn't told me until today).

So, while waiting until Monday to call the accountant which may not even be in the office, can anyone tell me if I should be worried.

I'm confused. Was this your return for non residents? Was it not due by May 1st this year?

Yes to both.

I contacted accountant and he told me it's just a reminder letter? They sent me a reminder more than 2 weeks later after return was filed?

Also, I am confused about the deadline. Somewhere I read it's June 30th and another place it's April 30th?

That very likely was a reminder. You should contact CRA directly to see if they processed the return. They should have by now. I wouldn't get to worried about it yet.
