GoW Collection $30 on Amazon

Hey,

This thread got me interested to pick this game up. Went to EB Games and they had it new for $24.99.
Sales person mentioned that they had just lowered the price in the last couple days.
I'm not much of a game buyer so I'm not sure if EB Games is YMMV or chain wide.

I checked EB yesterday and they had it for $34.99 new.

but these are on bluray discs so it makes it worth it plus they have remastered the games and there is a noticeable difference in the graphics...

$30 is a great price if you don't already have the PS2 version of the games, paid the same price for these back when Toys R Us had the $10 off games deal, but only good if you have $10 worth of stuff to add on to make it free shipping

Plus the addition of trophies to both games makes for some decent replay value.

Have a CSR call a local EB Games. If they can verify the price over the phone, you're good to go!

hmm.. if this is indeed a perm price drop, it might kinda confirm a rumour of a GoW trilogy release when GoW 3 comes out.

There's no Gears of War Collection, and God of War is only on Playstation, common sense goes a long way boy Also there is a link in the second post if you are still confused....

Suggest you google "Gears of War collection"... there are indeed collections out there. If you mean 1+2 combined, it's only a matter of time before a retailer slaps them together and calls it a collection (whether official or not)... this is not unreasonable progress.

Went to The EB Games at the Eaton Centre (Toronto). They said the sale started today (Jan,27,1010). Also found it at Yonge and Eglinton Location. Also confirmed at Scarborough Town Centre according to a friend.. Hope that helps. $24.99 PRICE TAG!!
P.S. Only in Europe there will be a GOW Ultimate Collection including the new GOW 3. Because they never got the 2 disc collector's series. So I heard.

Confirmed $24.99 at EB games, I bought one today in Victoria BC. The store shelf tag read $24.99, didn't have to ask the clerk to double check or anything.
