You are right. Rule says a "Good rule of thumb" to have 1 FS and 1 WTB, not that both of the active threads have to be.
I guess I find it a little annoying seeing 2 FS/FT threads from the same seller whilte it can be done in one. It is unusual but it is not against the rules either.
