had these chicken before, i think is just marketing...they are huge thou, expect to be about 3-4lb on the chicken after defrosted...
i steamed it and when you open the the pot, u can smell the ginseng in the steam/moisture, but u can hardly notice the ginseng on the meat itself

does it taste any good

I"m almost inclined to say this is chicken for soup perhaps? maybe a cantonese style long-boil soup?

Ginseng is itself a type of stimulant and can have adverse effects if taken in high doses or combined with caffeine but I do not believe it contains caffeine.

ppl rather use young fowl (aka old chicken) for soup...
this might be to meaty or fatty for long-boil soup
