Great Place to Buy/Sell Stamps and Coins
Bay Coins & Stamps
416-585-2273
595 Bay Street (Atrium on Bay: Street level, North entrance across from World's Biggest Bookstore)
The proprietors are fair and honest. I have no affiliation, just a good experience selling my coin and stamp collections and I would like to give them credit.
This is the first place you should go if you're selling your collections. You'll probably end up coming back here after you realize that they will offer you the best price around.

My dad goes there. It's his secondary store for coins/notes etc.

Can you get your stuff appraised too? How much?
I have a stamp collection. I'd like to get it looked at.

You can get your stuff appraised insofar as you can try to sell your collection to them and they will give you an offer. Stamps aren't worth much nowadays unless they come in collector's packaging.

I wouldn't know offhand. Please call them, they're friendly!

Totally off topic but I just discovered yesterday that all the coins I've been collecting for the last 15 years have PVC damage corrosion on them for storing them in soft vinyl flips. This week I will spend some time to find an alternative storage medium for my coins.
