Greatest Veal Sandwiches?

I'm Italian so veal sandwiches have been in my family for decades. It's one of those special delicate sandwiches you have once in a while but not too much.

I find that Molisana Bakery on Creditview/Bristol (Mississauga) makes excellent veal sandwiches, next to San Francesco's Foods.

I dunno about "best", but the only place I get veal sandwiches are from Ricci's ( Weston/Langstaff).

The best I've tasted is at Commisso Bros. & Racco at 8 Kincort St, York, ON. Distant second for me (although some prefer it) is California Sandwiches.

It is called Panini, across from Winners. Very good. Thumbs up to Nino D'Aversa also.

Colleague highly recommended some place in St. Lawrence Market...so I went with him to try it out.

Lo and behold, there was definitely a huge line-up at this place at lunch.

So I got the veal with the works......peppers, onions etc.

Greatest alright....greatest runs evar!!! Not sure what it was but I had an upset stomach as a result of that place.

So definitely don't eat there...

Is that the place in the basement?
If so I've had several there, no ill effects. Pretty good sangweech actually. About the same as Californias. Ambience sucks though.
Thanks for the memories, RFD.
Good-bye.

Is that the place north of Finch?
If so, it's pretty good, but kinda sucks. They used to let you add peppers and mushrooms for free, now they charge for them

it's a hands down tie between Californias and SanFrans... they both make it amazing but are slightly different. you must try it from either of these places before you think about putting another place on the top of your list
