Its not bad.
There's better restaurants around.
There's a cool new BBQ place close to there. Kipling and North Queen (1 block north of Queenway). It just opened this month.
Its like a butcher shop and grille.
Pick your meat and they grill it.
Very tasty.

The Grille on the Queensway
A colleague of mine recommended to me this restaurant located on the Queensway near Sherway Gardens. I checked the reviews via another website and it was rated very, very highly according to the people that posted.
What do you guys think? Anyone been to The Grille.

nope
i think the location he's talking about is on the corner of North Queen and Kipling...where a bakers dozen donuts used to be
edit... i didn't realize you were quoting the original poster. i think 'the grille' has been there for many many many years. 'Q' replaced St. Huberts

The Grille is ok ... it is just a greasy spoon type diner IMO
Nothing special ... I have breakfast there on the weekends sometimes with my wife. I never order anything with cheese because they use those disgusting Kraft singles (absolutely gross to me) ...
If you're looking for a diner, the Grille is fine ... I prefer Dundas Street Grill on Dundas and Kipling (next to Apache Burger - which sucks :p )

It's on the north side next to the Canadian Tire Gas Station.
You get LARGE portions at a reasonable price...try the "scary burger".
My son says the Dundas Grille is full of old people but there were no complaints at the Grille on Queensway....and he was surprised he had to take some of the burger home to finish.
My (girl)friend is a marathon runner and can REALLY eat...she was shocked at the portion sizes.
Chow down people...lots of yummy for your tummy!
Open 24 hours.

It's a Polish run restaurant serving up mostly burgers. There are 5 - 6 different types of burgers. Some with patties and others with sausages. Tastes not bad, portions are big but pretty pricey.

We went there today...we were off from work, as mentioned it is near the Cdn Tire store near The East Mall off The Queensway if you are planning on a visit.
We both had the meatlovers skillet for breakfast/lunch.
Big order of sausage, ham, bacon, ect...other stuff smothered in hollandaise and egg with potatoes on the bottom of the skillet.
Wouldn't reccommend this type of fare daily as I can feel my arteries hardening from the grease. But it's good and fairly tasty.
Not sure I'd make the trek out there again, as I think Peter's on Eglinton is far better, but for a 24 hour diner and for a greasy spoon urge. I'd give a it a thumbs up. If you are in the area.
Nothing special but not bad either.

haha
that is absolutely true ... my wife and I are usually the youngest people in there by 20-40 years (we are 30) ...
Desn't matter though ... the food is really good ... my wife loves the Eggs Benedict, but I am a bacon and eggs with extra toast guy. Excellent homefries there

The Grille is OK. If you're looking for a good 24 hr breakfast, Sizzlin' Jak's across the street is better for my money.
