Hi guys, is this a 1-stage or 2-stage unit? Is it better to have a 2-stage unit for more balanced cooling?

I am not sure, you have to call Craig and ask. My best guess is that these are 1 stage units. I am sure Craig has 2 stage units if you inquire.

I am in on this as well. Anyone know what the sound rating is on the Trane XR13 unit? Just wondering how loud it will be.

Also, what payee name do I search for to do e-transfer? Can't find four season comfort?

Also, anywhere to rent portable AC units while I wait in line for installation? :)

75 dB according to Trane info, a little bit louder than other models, but it is acceptable

ImageHi guys, one quick question. I had my AC installed today by Craig's guys. Is the refrigerant line fittings supposed to be exposed like this? Also, I think the lines and wire could have been tie-wrapped and routed more nicely.

If you feel that the work wasn’t done up expectations, feel free to give Craig a call. He will accommodate you.

Just had mine installed. All good. They damaged my filter by accident, but offered compensation for it. Was still happy overall.

Do we register the xr13 or does craig?
I do believe that he registers it himself for the warranty. But double check with him to be sure.

I think it depends on the size (in tons). The larger the unit that louder the rating. I believe for a 1.5/2 ton unit it is rated at 71db.

Does anyone have a phone of what their unit looks like after the install? I see astute12's photo above, but just curious to see others.

See post #32.

But I'd also like to see more photos if anyone has them
