GTA: $39.95/mos for 7.0Mbps high speed + Landline
I'm hoping this isn't a repost. I found someone else's post, but it's noted as "Calgary only". Looks like this deal is good for Toronto and elsewhere as well:

this is an awsome deal... must be a catch somewhere. are they new? trying to build a customer base? maybe they will raise prices after a year.
but, i guess even if they double their price, it is still competitive...

That's the kind of thing i want to know, they don't have a lot of technical details on the site. Also, do they block incoming/outgoing ports? what do they give you for IPs?

Ok, sorry, I should have done more research first. It is not available in Toronto just yet. I was relying on what a colleague at work had told me. I did however give a call to the CIA helpdesk (1-877-743-8242), and the rep did tell me to pre-register online, as the service will be in Toronto "within a matter of weeks....could be 1-2 weeks away". I'll edit my post with: "coming soon..."
Sorry to get your hopes up, but it looks like it's on the way very shortly anyway.

WOW! This peaked my interest. $39.95/mo for phone, 7.0Mbps internet, anytime long distance, etc.... It sounds too good to be true.

Has anyone heard anything about this company? Since I live in Edmonton, I'm very interested.

Hmm... seems that CIA is owned by the Cybersurf Corporation, which also owns 3Web.

Hrmmm.
Never wanted to try VOIP before, but if this service has a decent upload rate and no caps I'd be interested.
Honestly, I can't see it lasting long. Either they will implement caps or come up with some sort of contract or something.
