Try checking kijiji. There's always a bunch on sale there.

It depends on how shy you are but last time I went to the sale. I drove directly to the venue to get tickets. I asked a few ladies in line and I ended up getting three tickets. The people in line are usually really nice.

Yeah, if anyone went to the sale today please let us know how it was! I want to know if the lineups were really bad, charity bags, etc! I'm going tomorrow morning and I'm really excited yet anxious....really wanna get great deals! Also, if you can provide any tips (this is my first time) that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Updates please! I have tickets for Sunday. I know there will probably be left overs only, but I'm not looking for anything in particular! What's in the charity bags and what are the freebies this time around?

Just came back; nothing too special, more or elss the same as last time price-wise. They were selling the Dazzlespheres for $25 though.
SE brushsets for $35 but they were buy 1 get 1 free, nothing too special though and imo, the SE brushes are really not that worth it to buy in the first place in terms of quality.
And they still had plummage pro-pan refills for $4 so you can buy a bunch of them just because you can. Although they did have a couple Gareth Pugh technakhol liners for $9 which isn't too bad considering they were $23 retail.
Grab bags sucked they were just mineralize face+body lotions. =/ Kinda meh this time around, didn't get much.
My freebie was Goodskin Eyelipex-2 (day and night eye gel).

OK, so I went to the sale for the first time this morning. I can't say I was REALLY impressed. The money I spent was way below my budget. I'm not sure if all of the good stuff sold out yesterday, but there wasn't anything there that I thought was really exciting to get. The $4 dollar section really sucked....all I got from there was a Clinique eye makeup remover and 2 MAC pro-pan eyeshadows in Phloof! and Plumage (those were the only colors they had!). I was also looking forward to getting some MAC eyelashes but I didn't see ANY there! I also got 3 skincare products which ranged between $10-$20. And I got 2 lippies, one from MAC and another from Estee Lauder which was $10 each. The charity bag was a huge disappointment as I only got an extremely DARK brown lip pencil (almost looks black! -____-) and a pale pink MAC eyeshadow in Miss Piggy (which barely shows up on my skin). Also, the freebie I got was a black nail polish by MAC in 'Night Fall'.
Overall, the makeup selection was a huge disappointment to me. But if you're a huge fan of the skincare lines by Clinique, Origins or Estee Lauder, then this sale is totally worth going to. I would go again MAINLY for the skincare products because they had good discounts. The Origins moisturizer that I buy at Sephora normally costs like $35 and I got it at the sale for $18. So totally worth it for that, IMO.

I know its for charity but in the past there would be a line up to buy the donation gift pack....this time no line and not much interest in the mineralized lotion set.

the warehouse is getting worse and worse every year. I wonder if its still worth it going.
I mainly go because of the charity bags and in recent sales the charity bag really suck. It use to be 4 items per bag and last year it was 3 items and this year 2 items. I guess next year it'll only be 1 item

I've wanted tickets for years and I finally got a pair for September but after reading all the reviews of past sales, I'm not that excited to go anymore
