GTA - Rogers 8300HD Box - $499 @ 2001A/V
This weeks 2001 AudioVideo flyer has the Rogers 8300HD PVR for $499.
Seems at least $50 cheaper than anywhere else right now.
Still not as good as last years $299 or the $369 at FS, but hopefully someone will save some money.

I'm well aware of the free HD PVR for 2 years deal, as I just got one last month thanks to RFD. I'm just posting for those who aren't so lucky when they call, and just want to buy one outright.

There should be new models of those things coming out. I still think it's waaaaaaaay to overpriced. The regular price has not gone down in years, since it first came out. It's not like they added bigger HDD or anything like that over time

Better Deal
Just go call rogers up and threaten to cancel and tell them that Bell is giving you the HD PVR for 2 years...They will give it to you.
See the thread on here about how to get a free HD PVR.
Now that is a good deal!
Also for poster number 2 I heard that you can grab a SATA external hard drive and plug it into the back where it says SATA and it will increase your HD space.

Last Dell DoD had an Xpander being marketed as a SATA memory upgrade for the scientific atlanta 8300 series pvr's via USB.
Anyone try one?

Hard to believe tyhis was $369 at FS 4 months ago, and $299 a year ago.
Wait untill March, FS is negotiating a deal to bring back the PVR for $299 in March.

So how do you get a free PVR for 2 years from Rogers? I can't seem to find this thread that you guys are talking about. Thanks!
