I'm a Ryerson student that's going into last year, I was in coop program. I went through some interviews and I have secured a job for 75k a year for when i graduate and signing papers tomorrow which I think is a very high number for a new grad.. But i can't say the school had any positive/negative effects. Ever since my first coop job, everything I've done was due to my work and networking.. So other than your first job, your school will have little difference and it will be based on your skills.. To be honest, go to the school that you want to go to, where you can be happy and succesful

It doesn't matter what school you go for a computer science degree. I guess location matters and when looking for internships you will have more opportunities around Toronto. What matters in a computer science program is how good you are at networking and what you learn on your own. The CS program will not teach you how to program, it will mostly teach you theory. You need to start working on personal projects on your own.
