Guess has crappy policies and crappy staff
WTF is their policy on returns for sale items. When i went to go buy a t-shirt that was on sale for the 50% off sale, i didn't have my SPC card. I asked the cashier if i could do a price adjustment next time i come in. she said yes.
Today i went back and the cash, and the cashier there said they don't do price adjustments on sale priced merchandise....i told them i had just bought this yesterday and that the cashier had told me i could do it.
the cashier today she said she could not do the adjustment b/c she was not the one who said that it could be done...i asked her if she had the authority to change it but she replied that b/c she wasnt' the person who had told me it could be done, she would not do it! WTF???
so i asked what their policy was and told them i wanted to refund and to rebuy the item. Then she said that they don't do refunds on sale priced merchandise only exchanges. I got the name of the cashier that did my original transaction and will be going back the next time she works b/c apparently, i need to talk to the person who put my transaction thru.
After i left, i read on the receipt and they actually only do exchanges OR a returned merchandise card (store credit type thing). So if they don't do the price adjustment next time, i'm gonna ask to refund the t-shirt for a store credit and then buy it again with my SPC card discount.

UPDATE::::
I went back to the store and they gave me my 10% SPC card discount.
Got back $1.69
THe salesperson/cashier there was still pretty adamant about not being able to do it. But i asked her why she couldn't do it for me last time and she didn't respond. SOme of the staff at Guess in Richmond BC are pretty crappy

wow for 1.69? I guess you can argue that it the principle, but don't you think your time would be worth more?

Next time read the policies when you make the purchase that way you don't have to waste all that time for less than you can buy a bottle of water for.
