Ok, the low storage notification came back again so I installed datafix.
Looks like Chrome & Firefox really eats the /datadata/ partition.
The init.d script doesn't seem to do anything on boot, I am on Slim 4.2 + Semaphore 1.2.6s BTW, but I was able to see what's taking up all the space and decided to clear data on firefox.
Now I have about 50MB left in data while Chrome takes up another 40MB or so. I am not too sure why the browser use so much but I guess there is a price to pay for being fast?

I have about 127 MB left in data. Did you do the step on Titanium Backup to enable Follow Symbolic links or sumthing?
I first flashed a fix I found online through CWM and followed the tutorial to enable Follow Symbolic Links on TB but that didn't get rid of the low space notification. Then I found datafix. When I first opened datafix, it tells me I already have Follow Symbolic Links enabled, then I just went ahead and clicked Install (I don't even remember seeing anything was selected clean caches & move to data/data in that list of apps). It restarted my phone and ran the script inbetween. After that, the notification is FINALLY gone! The 127 MB of free space displayed in datafix is apparently matching the free space reported on TB under System Rom. Before doing "Install" on datafix, I think it was reporting either 7MB (@__@) for free space, now I know that's refering to System Rom! Not sure how datafix managed to get me the extra 120 MB, but I am glad it got rid of the notification + didn't break anything so far *knock on wood*!

I did. My Titanium Backup says System ROM: 262 MB (92.9 MB Free), but the Datafix App reports 21 MB Free in datadata.
I have a feeling even if I set the init.d script to move stuff on boot, it's not really running for some reason.
(The following reboot didn't take any longer than usual)

I'm on SlimICS 4.2. It's mostly working great, but there seems to be a couple of issues so far:
- Turning off auto-rotate doesn't work.
- The battery charging animation doesn't work.
Are there any fixes for these issues? Thanks.

I'm using Apex launcher and have no problem with toggling auto rotation on or off. Try a launcher or a different one. Lot of people seem to be using Nova.
Go back a few or more pages or search this thread for a link to download the charging animation zip file. Reboot into recovery and install but make sure the file is saved in your phone or SD card.

Hello All,
Just want to say if anyone is still having the phone GPS taking too long to search and lock in, it is the hardware problem. I just followed this guide to reconnect the gps antenna to the mainboard and it now worked like a charm (gps locked in less than 30 seconds vs 5-8min before the fix).

I need a little help here. My phone is unlocked and rooted. Tried different ROM (SlimICS and CM-RC2) and different kernel (Semaphore and Glitch) and it worked. However, I'm with Fido and I tried to make it work on Rogers/Fido network. I have tried different modem on Perka's (KC1, KG3, JK4) I used the modem map to look the best modem for the area (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1227717) I'm in Montreal. The signal is intermittent and not working. It recognized the Rogers network, but I can't send sms or phone call. Is it only a problem with modem or? Any suggestion?
