I always thought the movie was never going to happen, but very sad to get confirmation. Damn.

I voiced my concerns with Guillermo years ago and suggested he look for foreign money to get Hellboy 3 rolling. I was even willing to put my relations (or at least what little there is) at stake with EMP for the guy.

the flicks were visually pleasing but lacked the punch of a R-rated movie...i think the reboot is best with an R-rating.

No disrespect to Milla but her casting really IMO puts this project firmly in the second tier

Lol...Milla can be decent....she was great in the Fifth Element...

Resident evil...not so much...

Let's hope Milla channels her acting chops from Fifth Element instead of the Resident evil slop of the last few years...

if they're bringing in Mila then it isn't considered a serious reboot, or one that they think will last long.

Prostheses are such that it probably didn't matter who was cast

IGN can confirm the Hellboy reboot starring Stranger Things' David Harbour will be released in theaters on January 11, 2019. Currently the synopsis of the film is that Hellboy will battle an ancient sorceress seeking revenge while he's caught between both the worlds of man and the supernatural.
