this guy is a poster child for "too much time on his/her hands"
http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/07/04/18/1247229.shtml
"The last few times that I sued a spammer in Washington Small Claims Court, I filed a "booby-trapped" written legal brief with the judge, about four pages long, with the second and third pages stuck together in the middle. I made these by poking through those two pages with a thumbtack, then running a tiny sliver of paper through the holes and gluing it to either page with white-out. The idea was that after the judge made their decision, I could go to the courthouse and look at the file to see if the judge read the brief or not, since if they turned the pages to read it, the tiny sliver of paper would break. To make a long story short, I tried this with 6 different judges, and in 3 out of 6 cases, the judge rejected the motion without reading it."

Shouldn't we be applauding him? My Gmail account has been spammed beyond usability. Does it rest well for you to know some jerk is making a lot of money for essentially spamming guys like you and I? They're worse than lawyers that they are in cahoots with. SPam spam, pay off fines which is only a pittance and laugh all the way to the bank.
Good for him.
A get a uncontrollable giggle every time I read "suing spammer"

that guy just had too much time on his hands, and he doesnt seem to understand that making it tough for a judge to read a briefing will not make a judge happy.
and besides, if he was really annoyed at it, he should be organizing opposition to the US can-spam act of 2003 as passed by congress and signed by president bush. that act basically legalized spam throughout the USA, and broke down many stricter 'state' laws.

yes, that's true, it was only a sort of test. but unless he was suing(he's an american i think) within the US CANSPAM act of 2003, then the judge has his rights to ignore the guy. he should be getting angry at congress for passing that and not wasting the judges time just because he got a few emails.

Ironic that often the same people who waste court resources and play 'tricks' on judges (btw, I'm not sure I believe you actually tricked a single judge..but that's just an aside) complain about the delays in our system, the cost of upholding individual rights in our charter and plea agreements (the latter without which the system would collapse under its own weight). Those in favour of what the OP claims to have done, are you also in favour of your tax dollars being spent this way?_______________

There's a lot worse ways to waste time than by investigating your legal system or fighting spam... the thing with the paper is kind of clever.
