7-Eleven Meat Kabob $1/ Chicken Kabab $2

I just got off work and went to 7-Eleven to see what they have. It seems like they are selling meat kabob for $1 (reg $2.49) and chicken kabob for $2 (reg $??). For picky eaters, these are probably disgusting to them. For me, they are edible. At least they are hot.

The 7-Eleven I went to is on 70th and Granville in Vancouver. I would assume it is at least a region-wide promo.

4AM? Sure.
4PM? Not so much.

2/10 would probably eat while drunk
EDIT: Especially when $1

These are probably best enjoyed when not sober, like right now.

The chicken one looks like 4 Burgerking nuggets on a skewer. I wonder if they ordered it from BK and just make it into 2 kabobs for $4?

These days not so much, but I remember high school in 1990. Heading over to the 7-11 at lunch. The burgers were sealed in plastic wrap. All the toppings. Super cheap. It was great for a 16 year old.

Chicken actually isn't bad. Used to get it when I was younger. Pretty sure they just sprayed processed chicken around the stick over and over again. Now I'm pretty sure it's actual white meat. Not a bad price, even regular price isn't too bad.

I guess meat is $1 cheaper because even they don't know what meat it is.

I thought the requirements for the "hot deals" section were something "cheap" and desirable.

Sure this is cheap but.......would you eat it if it were free?

Okay I admit the chicken kabobs I kind of enjoy and get once a week, and always after midnight. I know it's like scraps of chicken that's been processed to look like white meat, breaded and fried, put on a skewer and douced with the cheapest honey garlic or sweet chillie sauce...but it's great after playing night basketball :)
The meatballs on the other hand are barf inducing...it's the same stuff you see in the frozen bin at food basics and the like. That big plastic bag of frozen "meatballs" for $10...worst piece of warm salty mush I've ever had and gave me a tummy ache

Anyone buy meat at 7-11 deserves the slow painful death they will inevitably surcome to

Whenever I'm in 711 they always push me to buy the food, like hard sell. I wonder why?

They guy is always like C'mon I'll give you 2 hotdogs for X dollars! or If you buy the pizza now i'll give it to you for $5!

It's like pressure sales!

+1 on the Honey Garlic Chicken kabobs, those things are actually really good. The meatballs are hot garbage though. I couldn't even finish one. They are probably the only processed meat I've ever had in my life that I couldn't stomach.

Yes. Especially when it's 4AM and I'm drunk and hungry.
At that point everything is desirable.
Stop taking your dates to 7-Eleven.

It's no more painful than trying to read this post.
