Halal chicken wings in Mississauga?
Hi Everyone.
I'm looking to find a nice take out with some tasty halal chicken wings. Doesn't matter whether it's saucy or dry-rubbed.. although I do prefer dry ones.
Anyone know of any? I'm in the Hwy 10 and Eg area, would there be any good ones near me?
It's actually for a party I'm trying to plan, for about 7 people, and one eats Halal.. Let me know!
Thanks.

I once saw a "Wing Machine" with a "Halal" sign... It was near danforth and coxwell... Theres also a halal fried chicken & fast food place near danforth and donlands...
Theres a mosque and a few middle eastern shops, so im assuming theres a mini community of muslims in that area.
Perhaps some of the local wing machines in your area are halal too! Call them and find out. Try calling ones in muslim neighbourhoods (if there is such thing in mississauga)._______________

Pizza Ten has wings... They have one location near Mavis & Brittania and another near Hurontario & Dundas. Phone number for both is 905-268-6868. (You can ask for the exact address if you call and order.)
6 wings - $3.99
12 wings - $6.99
18 wings - $9.99
24 wings - $12.99
30 wings - $16.99
40 wings - $21.99
60 wings - $29.99
90 wings - $43.99
Sauces are $0.50 per portion if you want it on the side or $0.65 per dozen wings if you want it mixed in.
And yes, they're halal._______________

Be VERY VERY careful when ordering halal. I worked at 3 restaurants claiming they served halal but it was regular chicken. At one of the restaurants, I told the owner that I refuse to order non-halal chicken and play it off as halal. In the end, he wouldn't let me order halal since its a bit more expensive and I ended up quitting.
There is inspection regarding halal food. There is no way to verify as the customer whether the food is halal or not, unless you ask the Manager to see the product in the back.
You can even say you serve Certified Angus Beef when really its AA USDA. No comes in to check if we as chefs are serving the food as advertise. Such a shame we don't have stricter laws on this.
