I bought the rib steaks. So far had 3 of them. I'm not a good judge of meat, but it tastes pretty good? I cook them using Alton Brown method of oven/broiling. I seem to cook them too close to medium/well, but they're still quite juicy.

As far as I can tell, it's way cheaper than any other meat! $20 (no tax) for 10 steaks...that's $2 a meal.

hm, very intersted but wanting to know more about the suppliers. tahsin solmaz is the supplier for the burgers. the rest of the meat is supplied by horizon meats but no info can be found in regards to halal. anyone?

Yes i spoke with Tahsin over the phone didnt get chance to visit the store, but they are processed meat supplies, i am more interested in finding their fresh meat supplier, i also found the link you posted other than that there is not much about their supplier

when i send them email they said that supplier name is listed on website, well it is just a name, i asked for supplier contact info, if they are true to their word why would they hide this?

With Tahsin did he say if he hand slaughters and if he is HMA or any other halal certified?

I got a reply. Horizon Meat Supplies is located in Shelburne, ON. I can't find any info whether they are zabiha halal.

I called them and the guy said that he is just a worker, all he knows that there are some people who come in for halal meat products, dont know if they come to buy or offer takbeer or slaughtering he said call back later and talk to the owner named Deni.
