Usually the voice in the game is in the same language that is in your console settings. I would be very surprised to see that 2 different versions of the game disc exists.

Usually, translations sucks, especially when it's done in France like Guitar Hero

when I get it, I'll test it out. I have a Halo 3 english from the Rogers deal anyway. I just wanted the helmet to put on my shelf.

all the game content is in french (just like Halo 2)

if you want the helmet and french copies of everythign else it's a good deal to jump on, you can always trade in your french copy of the game when you're in Quebec
