Thank you Dave.

There is not a lot of feedbacks/reviews that I could find and almost none from Ontario drivers.Wonder why? Nobody buys them?
Being $50 cheaper then Nokian WRG they seem to be attractive alternative to Nokians.

Here's an excerpt from the above link: "The list of all-weather tires is growing. Hankook, a major Korean tire company, is selling their Optimo 4S in Canada on a limited basis. Since supply is short, they are only selling this tire via OK tire stores. They are not sure they will have enough to fulfill the demand."

If you don't drive much, you might want to consider driving on performance winter tires year round. I have heard a number of Vancouver residents who do this. Falken Eurowinter HS439 is one such tire...pretty cheap too. These tires won't perform like those Q-rated winter tires, but are likely better than all weather tires in winter conditions.

Mixed reviews on the 4S.

PJungnitsch at that forum had a set of Optimo 4S, but got rid of them after a season or two. Think that he went back to separate winters and summers....4S is a compromise tire.

I have heard good reviews on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS....an all season that is somewhat good in winter...limited sizes however. DWS would be on my shortlist if I was living in the lower mainland and wanted a one tire solution (carry chains/cables just in case).
