I don't know if this is the right place to put it but I saw the 2012 TV deals thread and I thought it would be nice to have one for Hard drives. Everyone needs more storage!
I probably won't maintain the page so if someone who is more dedicated can create a new thread similar to this or mod can just edit my post.
Just want to throw the idea out there.
Will require the store, price, link to flyer
Optional link to review sites, previous low price, etc.

Got the 49.99 Vertex3 120G from Tiger direct during black fridays. Hoping for a 240G SSD. Maybe internal 3.5 3T drives for my NAS too.
hopefully NCIX or Memory express comes up with something good.

Make sure you update Firmware, Had 2.15 on mine has afew random issues with startup freezing... went to latest 2.25 and it works fine so far...
Also just a FYI the Markham Depot is Closed, so OCZ is even less prefered now... Remember that when deal hunting from now on....
I know personally When / If this thing dies Its going to cost me 20$ to get to CA_______________

The WD elements 1 TB is on sale for 69.99 at FS. Only one that stood out to me. Comes with a case as well.

Same drive is also being sold at Best Buy for the same price. The only other external HD that comes close to being a sweet deal is the acer external 1tb going for 79.99 at the source. I don't know too much about it though. If it requires an external power source then it's off limits for me.
I remember buying the 1TB I have now for 69.99 back in 2010 at futureshop. I'm kind of surprised with how hefty all the new drives are. Is there any reason why hard drive prices haven't reduced considerably since then?

Most likely this one will get down to $50. It was $50 on Black Friday and probably the cheapest drive you can get around here.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread. I'm hoping to pick up a 7mm SSD (~250GB) for my notebook. So far the best deals I've been able to find are on Samsung 840-series 250GB SSD (~$160).
