Yes myself as well hoping for a 0.50$/GB SSD in the 240GB- 512GB range. Vertex 3, Vector, 840 Pro, not sure which other ones to look at that in this category off the top of my head....? Intel 330 or was it 530? Have to go back and look that up now...

I wouldn't pay more than 49.99 for 1TB for boxing price. That 69.99 @ FS is just regular "sale" price, if you really need one fine go ahead. Remember stores are still gouging. Before it was 59.99 for 1TB

Western Digital "My Passport" 2TB 2.5" USB 3.0 external harddrive is on sale for $120 until Jan/5/2013 at Costco. This is the same as the Black Friday sale.

Looks like we won't see anything better than the 89.99 3TB from CC on BF.

This. I think some of the people here are just hopping on the "omg they're gouging us" wagon and being negative and unreasonable just for the hell of it. Where and when has a 1TB external been listed for 49.99? I want another external but I don't mind waiting for a bit longer to get one for a good price.

I bought a Seagate 1TB external hard drive (slim) about a month and a half ago.
It was $69.99 at NCIX or somewhere else and then I price matched it at Memory Express.
Picked it up for $65.99 and just tax; free shipping.
(By the way, what does 2.5" mean? - the external hard drive that I bought is actually about 5/8" thick).Last edited by gordholio; Dec 23rd, 2012 at 11:18 PM.
