Harman Kardon AVR 2600 at 599$ seems like a good deal
Has anyone tried PM futureshop in the past with price from electronicsforless or has anyone bought anything from electronicsforless.

Make sure that the following is okay:
1) The retailer is authorized.
2) The retailer is in stock.
3) The retailer has the exact same item for sale.
FS also states:
Our lowest price guarantee does not apply to advertising errors or misprints, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, OEM products, limited or minimum quantity or limited time offers, close-outs, liquidations, clearances, financing or other special offers.

Man gotta love how HK make receivers look so sexy.
I got an Onkyo tx sr705 and while it's a great receiver it's so plain and ugly...

After how ridiculously bad my AVR 45 was, I'll buy Pulsar over Harman Kardon next time. What a piece of trash. Perhaps they've improved, but they permanently ruined their reputation for always high quality in the process of going Chinese made.

Really? I wasn't aware of this...
The lower models of the old series, I believe, has passthrough HDMI only.

Sorry, they're not exactly the same, but very much comparable.

I pm this at FS back in November when Visions had it for $600. They were reluctant but I got it for $570 (FS price was on sale then for $900). Some people got lucky and were able to apply a further 10% off coupon. Apprently, $570 was below their cost. Nice receiver. I liked the Dolby Volume which is good for condos. Eventually, I returned it and opt for the Yamaha 6290 $800 BD deal.
