Harmon/Kardon AVR130 299$ at F-shop?
Hey,
I know i'm not nuts and I'm sure I saw this on RFD but now I can't seem to find the Harmon Kardon AVR 130 on the flyers for f-shop... is this an ontario only thing (it was 299 door crasher)... on a side note, what's better H/K or Denon (similarly priced models like Denon AVR1505 vs H/K AVR 130)
cheers!

For those that are more in the know, if this a good deal ? I.e. how decent is the receiver, the online reviews at FS seem to be good. I haven't been reading up on receivers, etc in ages...
I might go by the store later today to see if they have any left...

2 weeks ago, I did see this receiver for the same price at Futureshop.
So it's not an incredible deal. It's a good receiver, but it's an entry level, end of line and lack in power (even H&K actually say real W, it's still short)

Lack in power? Doubling power results in no more than an extra 3 decibels. Unless you're absolutely deaf, this will do a fair job, especially for $300. Too late to go buy one now though.
