uhm ... are you joking?
North Koreans aren't allowed to leave. so ofcourse no1 has ever met one. You would have to go to N. Korea in order to meet one. The ones who do escape are probably scared to admit where they're from anyway.
Also I saw on tv that North Korean's have their own internet, blocked off from anything that's not from North Korea. So no1 from North Korea will ever read this either.

A old co-worker of mine is North Korean, she was born there but came to Canada when she was a child. Never asked her how, since it could be a sensitive topic, so I've only assumed either had powerful family members or was smuggled.

I used to work with a nice person who was originally form North Korea.
Lots of North Koreans flee to China and South Korea. The one I know fled to China and can speak fluent Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese and English is pretty good!_______________

Nope, but my girlfriend met them before (when she went to NK) and in SK. The South Korean government takes in all North Koreans who run to South Korea, settles then down, gives them a place to live, and provides living expenses.
