Prices are cheap. But it does take a long time..I ordered an item previously that took a whole month.
Then I ordered an item another time and it took less than a week? lol Shipping times are inconsistent.
So if you like something, make sure you're patient =)

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH BEYOND THE RACK - here's my story
ordered $100+ worth of home stuff as xmas presents for friends in US (I'm in Canada) .... part it of it made it and 1 part didn't. ALL the shipment came from different places, warehouse, manufacturers and companies. The last one was for a bed sheet set (company's name is unknown cause BTR never actually discloses the name of the brand they just pool it together under a sexy title like "Venice sheets" but this is NOT the brand name).
Issues:
1: took 2 months to 'deliver'
2: BTR never updated the site so it still said pending after 2 months
3: as soon as I contacted them to say I never received the package they quickly updated the site to say "Shipped" sent me a tracking number and said sorry not our problem as you signed for it and our job is done.
4: I NEVER SIGNED FOR IT cause I don't like in US and my friend would have signed HER name not mine.
So what had basically happened is that someone signed for my package and stole it in US!!!
I contacted BTR (very friendly and helpful) but they said its not their prob since on their side it says UPS properly delivered and they have a signature. They told me to call UPS to sort it out.
Called UPS, they sent me a screen shot of the signature - definitely NOT ME! UPS said they will investigate and get back to me. 2 weeks later no news from UPS or BTR.
Just called UPS again and apparently there is NO case filed for me and no investigation launched - so I HAD to re-explain everything to a new agent who right away called BTR and he said he will makes sure they both figure out a way to reimburse me but he said BTR was being extremely defensive and unhelpful.
Let's see =(
In USA they leave packages at the door and everyone surely must be aware of this so kids hanging down streets can UPS truck chase and steal peoples things. What the frigg does a signature even mean? Theives can read the name on the box and easily just sign J. smith!
Aside from this nightmare, BTR is so not worth it. Their designer duds are so overpriced. I've found better deals else where. Lucky for me I only spent a $100 but if u are considering spending $1000+++ u may want to stear clear for this in case your package goes missing like MINE!!!!

Your post is all over the place, and doesnt' make much sense. I've never had a problem with beyondtherack shipping. Also, they don't use UPS for their shipping anymore, they use CanadaPost/USPS. The only time they used UPS was during the lock out which was last summer. I smell BS with this 1st post.

Do not shop here
HORRIBLE! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND YOUR MONEY!
I was excited to use this site when I first saw it and purchased a few things, EVERY single item that came was either too big or too small, and I had to return it, not only did they deduct the shipping of the credit back but I also lost 10 dollars per item for shipping it here, in totaly I probably spend at least 100$ in shipping, all of their sizes are wrong. Recently I bought a body suit that was suppose to be a S and it was XXXS it wouldn't not even go on. I couldn't even return it although the package it came in was OPEN, anyone could've tried it on, I wrote them a message and they didn't even more to read it! Also have you noticed that they say the item is coming directly from the designer/manufacturor and that is why it takes them so long to ship it, but then they have the same model modelling different items from different designers, so how does that even make sense? I think they delay shipment on purpose. My friend who purchased an item from here as well said it smelled like SMOKE when she got it. HORRIBLE SITE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Recently I bought Urban Decay makeup from btr and it wasn't that bad. It took a really long time to ship (3 weeks) and they ended up canceling half my order.
The only bad thing was that they didn't pack my box good enough and one of eyeliner pencils has fractures all over it (just a ***** to sharpen)
But yeah I hear horror stories about their reliability all the time. I don't think I'll buy from them again.

Too late after I ordered, I discovered that many of the items they list for sale are not in stock. After you order and your money is taken, this retailer will begin its attempts to gain access to your items so they can then ship them to you. Many retailers will not charge your account UNTIL THEY SHIP. Such is not the case with Beyond The Rack. Your account will immediately be charged, and you may not get your order for WELL over a month or more. I finally cancelled my order (after waiting one month) but still do not have a credit to my account. I urge caution and an extreme amount of patience if you choose to do business with them.
I know another website that has similar qualities, they charge before the item is sent, but if you pay by credit card and they need to refund your money they do it automatically. They have terrible customer service, they don't answer e-mails and its impossible to call them. The thing is, very rarely do they need to refund and the items always show up one way or another. I've seen complaints about this beyond the rack, but other people aren't having a problem. If they are shipping after the have the item shipped to them, then yes it will take a while. One person was complaining about waiting a month, but that's how long it would take if that's what they have to do. It is true you need to do your research, i would test the waters small with this website, and see if it's okay considering people are very pleased with the items that do show up. The only thing you need to be concerned about is a credit card scam, you don't want people stealing those numbers, make sure you know the site it secure before purchasing.

Beyond the Rack
I bought three watches from this site. One of them looks so cheap and it cost me more than $100. The shipping took more than a month, when I finally receive it I was very upset. So I decide to return it and buy another model, thinking that I will have my money credited on my credit card. I made the return and they've respond quite quick saying they've receive my request bla bal bla, I thought it was a good deal... Well no, they dont wont give you your money back but rather "BTR credits", so you have to spend your money on their website (AND DON'T BELIEVE ON ANY OF THEIR "BLOWOUT" SALES, EVERYTHING IS JUST AS CHEAP AS WALMART STUFF).
So, bought another watch: a Jacques Lemans for $200 an after just one month it broke! Now I have $100 in BTR credits (wow!) and I have to send my broken watch to Hollywwod, USA, pay the shipping and wait who knows how much time to receive it back, if i receive it.
Think it twice before buying here. Their prices are not better than any other website, and you will have to wait more than a month to receive you item, an hopefully you will like it.

About Beyond the Rack
I have placed many orders on beyond the rack and the company is legit. However there has been some items that what i've ordered has taken almost 5 weeks to arrive. I wouldn't advise buying anything for someone's birthday because you might not get it in-time but the deals are really good.
Hope this helps

Very Poor- My first and last purchase.
I purchased from BTR and they shipped wrong size. Order took over 3 weeks to arrive. I returned it and was told i would get a refund. Its been over a month now. No refund yet. the sad thing is the same item was sold at BTR a couple days ago for double the price. So i guess its cheaper for them to refund me. The telephone and chat agents are useless. Their lack of proper answers just make people angry. I am going back to shopping at AMAZON.
BTR's poor customer service and disregard for customer satisfaction leads me to believe they are not a long term business.

Beyond the Rack - GREAT service
I ordered a watch from BTR last Sunday (19 Feb). It arrived at the postal outlet 22 Feb & sat there until it was delivered this am. It took longer at Canada Post than being shipped from BTR. The item is exactly as I ordered - no fakes, all paperwork, etc.
Just wanted to let you know as I was freaking after reading all the negative reports - of course I read them after I placed the order. Probably will use BTR again if I see something really on sale, like my beautiful HAUREX watch

I have just placed and order, BTR claims that no order has been processed. According to my CC Company, it's been made and processed. This is blatant theft.

Woah....there are a lot of weird posts in this thread.
I've purchased from BTR a few times. Usually, the shipping is slow, but so far, the items have been as described. I had a couple of things that didn't fit and I returned them with no issue (though you only get credit, no refund).
Overall, I'm happy with the things I've purchased - kid stuff, kitchen stuff, some clothing, some shoes. I still check it most days and buy something every month or two.
The only downside I find is that if you're interested in ordering a smaller item (like under $10), the shipping is crazy expensive in comparison (about $13). I'm sure that's to encourage you to make larger purchases, but to me it's a deterrent if there's just one small thing I"m interested in.

Just thought i'd mention, for the past few months Beyondtherack has been selling a ton of New Balance men's work out clothing, and underwear. Sale started today at hautelook with the same stuff for a bit cheaper of a price. If you're interested in signing up to hautelook would appreciate it if you could message me for an invite
lol

Sounds like the BTR experience is extremely mixed from positive/no complaints to bad customer service, slow shipping, potential fake merchandise, etc. Is Hautelook much better than BTR? Hautelook is based in the US so their shipping is more and they charge 20% for taxes and shipping. Are their other similar companies worth looking into?
