David Mills was a badass writer. Not too many can write raw and real TV characters like he could.
Also, was Brad Pitt's character in Se7en named after him or is it just a coincidence?

Bump for an awesome show!
Just finished watching the series in 2 weeks. Great plot line and characters.
Serious and light at the same time. Best parts are when they're drunk,
Favorite characters are Beadie and Lester.

Some of the Wire cast is on David Simon's new show called Treme. Bunk and Lester are regulars on it with others like Slim Charles, Waylon, etc.

just finished watching this... i'm so dissapointed... ****ing marlo gets to walk off with all his money?
I hated him and his entire crew from the start..
I wish Bodie and Poot got more screen time, they should have developed those characters more seeing as how they were there from season 1

The Wire had the best "names" for characters ever. No show will beat it.
Slim Charles, Bodie, Poot, Wallace, Marlow, Avon Barksdale, Stringer Bell, McNulty, Cheese, Bunk, Bubs, etc.
So great._______________

I liked Avon more then Stringer, he had more heart.. giving $15,000 to Cutty so he could build a gym for the kids.. as for the cops, Bunk and Greggs were my favs
that scene when Bodie and Poot killed Wallace was really deep, prolly my fav of the entire series
yeah I understand that, and wouldn't change their roles, I mean I wish they showed a little more of what there day to day was like, I really felt for Bodie, he was 100% loyal and a hard worker, and was left alone on the corner with no back up, his death was one of my fav scenes tooLast edited by Mugen123; Aug 15th, 2010 at 11:27 PM.
