Built it last week, works/looks great as a mini island (picture below). The material is decent, for $190, it is definitely worth it.

Hah! We actually did make one the next day. A chocolate chip banana bread was born... then eaten.
I can't believe Costco is selling a similar one for $599, even compared to HD's original price of $379, HD is a better one because its Granite top and has wheels, legs on this thing would make it a huge work out when you need to move it for cleaning and whatnot.

I have the same Cuisine art Mixer! What is that shelf thing you have underneath it? Does the mixer still work well while on top of it?

True, I'd rather have wheels. Looks like it might have upgraded hardware though. Mine doesn't have soft or self close drawers but I sure wouldn't pay $400 extra for that.getdownkid wrote: ↑Hah! We actually did make one the next day. A chocolate chip banana bread was born... then eaten.

And I have to say it again - I put mine together without the wine racks (still installed the top & bottom of the box) and the entire unit is completely solid. Great space for a mixer...

The mixer sits on an Ekobrew K-Cup Storage Drawer. It's solid enough to support the stand mixer, and the top has a rubber grip that secures the mixer in place.popcorneater wrote: ↑I have the same Cuisine art Mixer! Would we pay property tax on this? Or no because it is moveable? Will tax guy look in window and see it is on castors?

Bought 2 units last week in the Coquitlam store, BC. The store still had 1 unit + 1 display left
