Was just going to movies and stopped into home depot (410/Bovaird) They had a 24 pack of energizer batteries that had offer for free movie ticket for $9.99. They were nice enough to let me use there computer to enter code for printable ticket and the wife and I saved $10 bucks and now I have all my batteries for Holidays. Pretty Hot in my opinion. Batteries are conviently located right at the cash register.

Hot, but do you have a link or any proof? I'm especially interested to see if it's at other locations like 427/Queensway. Online they only show 6, 10, or 16 packs. Also what kind of batteries did you buy - AA or AAA?

This is truly a hot deal if for $9.99 you can get a 24 pack of Energizer batteries + 1 Free Movie Ticket. For someone that goes to the movies all the time you are basically getting 24 free batteries.

I myself could not find any 24 packs. I think the op might of made a mistake saying he picked up a 24 pack. Both Sherway Gardens & St.Clair HD's said no 24 packs were $9.99 with free movie ticket. Unless employees realized how hot this deal was and hoarded them all.

16 pack AA batteries + 1 free movie ticket = $9.99
10 pack AAA batteries + 1 free movie ticket = $9.99

Bought some AA's and AAA's at Best Buy for $12.99. Each pack had a free movie coupon. Not as good as $9.99 but if you need batteries anyway, it's not bad.
