HD - Stacking Offers?

Currently HD has the Power Up offer ($25 off $150 - $300 purchases)

http://www.homedepot.ca/wcsstore/HomeDe ... nt_ENG.pdf

HD has price match policy.

Rona has the 20 V Dewalt Drill and Driver set for $180, HD's price is $200. Will HD match price, then allow use of the Power Up coupon, to reduce price to about $155? Anyone have experience with this sort of transaction?

Ymmv, but typically in these situation the price match would be taken I to consideration after their $25 discount, which would make it cheaper than Rona, thus negating the price match

Also, wrong forum

I've tried it and their system didn't allow it. I was trying to use a coupon though. This tool event is actually a coupon to which they scan.

I have been able to do a price match and apply the power up offer on numerous transactions. The system did allow it but whether the cashier would allow it is a different story. YMMV
