Hello, so my family will be getting a HDTV soon enough and would like some help with the choosing.

Our budget is $1000 and would like:

42"
1080p

We have an old Sony STR-DE375 receiver from 5 years back, but works wonders with our setup now. So maybe some sub to replace my current and satalite ones for 5.1 Surround sound.

We'll be using it for OTA HD, PS3 games, Bluray, Standard DVD

Let me know if this is possible with the budget.
