HDTV problem: no sound on analogue channels

I have a sharp LC-42D64U

Recently, I have been unable to get any audio on the analogue channels, but the digital ones are fine.... have been screwing around with all the settings and cant figure out whats wrong, can anyone help???

Are you actually running an analog interconnect pair (red & white) from the analog audio out on your box/decoder out to your receiver/amp/whatever?

I ask because I couldn't get any sound from the analog (800+) channels on Rogers digital until I realized I had run a digital out from the Rogers box but had forgotten to run an analog pair as well for the analog channels.
