Heads Up Everyone !! Halo 3 Limited Edition Big Disc Problems !!
A friend just opened 3 copies of Halo 3 Limited Edition and with all three copies both disc were loose inside of the package and scratched to death.
This Limited Edition has a piss poor plastic nub and foam pad disc holding design that is a major flaw and the discs pop off with ease.
Worse then the Prey Collectors Edition!!
If mine is like this I will keep returning it until I get one that is perfect and I think this will be almost impossible.
This is what you are going to see when you open your Halo 3 Limited Edition:
Both Discs Loose and floating around inside.
You can check out the pictures from the link below.

Get a new one from Microsoft. No use depleting a store's stock of Halo 3 by constantly returning opened copies. They just send it back to MS anyway.

well if he keeps going back to the store, he can continue to play the game. If he sends it to microsoft then there will be a wait period.

Glad I didn't buy the Collectors edition. Waste of money anyways, I can just borrow the DVD's from my friends the ONE time I want to watch it.

I was just about to post this. My extras DVD is fine but the game itself is scratched to hell. I am returning it tomorrow.

Just got back from Future Shop and they couldn't have been better about it. I mentioned I had heard of the problem and they acknowledged it, and said I could go through them until I found a good one. Found one with the game disc still secure (which is the important one), and the extras disc was loose, so the manager went back and found a perfect one from previously opened ones during the day. Even price matched at $69.99 to RCSS for me. Best price matching experience I've ever had and just plain over and above service.
As far as the LE's go and this whole debacle, it really is a shame MS let this happen and slip through the cracks...especially for a release like this.

I had the guy at BBV shake a couple. The first one you could tell the contents inside were loose but the second sound okay. We opened the second and it was okay. He was pretty cool too since I had ordered the regular version and he gave me the limited edition instead for free

Got mine from BBV as well and my discs werent too scratched up. I mean a couple noticeable ones, but it has not affected gameplay at this point. Just the movies during the menu pauses are a little skippy at times. Oh well, if it gets worse I'll just go in and exchange, but I was more fortunate.

Copied and pasted word for word from a neogaf.com forum that is full of Sony viral marketers? Hmmm... sounds like FUD to me:

How can it be FUD when myself and many others have badly scratched discs?
Many of us are neogaf'ers and crosspost to this board all the time once news from there appears that are significant enough to spread._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."
